Dressed All Round Skirting & Reveals
DAR Skirting Sydney | Dressed All Round Pine
DAR, or Dressed All Round, is smooth-finished on all four faces, making it the most flexible profile in the primed pine skirting range. With no shaped edge, it can be used as a plain skirting board, a door stop, a packer, or any application where a smooth, dimensioned piece of timber is needed. We stock primed pine DAR skirting in standard sizes, ready for whatever the job calls for.
Flexible Stock, Multiple Uses
DAR is the tradie’s multi-purpose profile. Clean on every face, it goes wherever a smooth, dimensioned piece of timber is needed. Use it as a plain skirting in utility areas, as a door stop in a frame, as a packer, or as a base for custom joinery. The pre-primed surface means it is ready for topcoat whenever it needs to be painted.
DAR is the profile tradies reach for when a job needs more than one application, and structural timber fixing hardware is often the next item on the same order. For any application where DAR meets a wall or floor, high-strength bonding adhesive gives a clean, permanent fix without surface damage. Available in bulk for trade orders. Part of our full internal primed pine skirting and moulding range.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes does DAR pine skirting come in?
DAR is available in a range of heights and thicknesses to suit different applications. Common residential skirting heights run from 30mm through to 90mm. Contact us on 1300 554 775 or check the product listing online to confirm current size availability.
Can DAR pine be used as a window sill?
Yes. DAR is used as a window sill lining in residential construction where a smooth, paintable timber surface is needed across the sill width. Confirm the depth you need against the wall thickness and frame reveal before ordering.
What is the difference between DAR and rough sawn pine?
DAR has been machine-planed to a smooth finish on all four faces and cut to precise dimensions. Rough sawn pine retains the saw marks from the mill and is dimensionally variable. DAR is the correct specification wherever a smooth, paintable surface is needed.
Can DAR timber be used outside?
Primed pine DAR is designed for interior dry applications only. For external use you need a treated timber with an appropriate H-rating for the exposure level. H3 treated timber is the minimum for above-ground external applications in sheltered conditions.
Is DAR the same as dressed pine or PAR?
Yes. DAR, dressed pine, and PAR (Planed All Round) all refer to the same thing, timber machine-planed smooth on all four faces. Terminology varies by region and supplier, but the product is the same.
