The product is used extensively in brick veneer and full masonry construction where external walls will receive a render finish rather than remain as exposed face brick. We stock Rendabar in 100 x 100 x 6mm and 150 x 100 x 6mm profiles, in lengths from 1.2m to 4.0m. The structural performance of Rendabar and standard Ingal angle is equivalent for the same section size. The difference is in the surface profile. Rendabar is designed to accept render coatings cleanly and bond correctly with the render system. Using standard Ingal angle in a rendered application may result in render adhesion issues at the lintel face.
