Easi Form LVL Formwork
Blacktown Building Supplies – Easi Form LVL Formwork
Easi Form LVL timber is a strong yet lightweight laminated veneer lumber (LVL) specifically engineered for use in a number of industrial and commercial applications, including joits, bearers, walers, soldiers, supports and concrete framework applications such as edgeboards. This strong, straight and uniform laminate offers a cost-effective, environmentally responsible and aesthetically appealing alternative to traditional timbers. The superior strength of this product makes Easi Form LVL Formwork ideal for the high load-bearing and corrosive environment of the concrete form work industry.
Easi Form LVL Formwork is available in a range of long, continuous lengths and thicknesses, with each length easily identifiable by the colour-coded end section.
Versatile and sustainable
Easi Form LVL offers a high-performance, lightweight alternative to solid lumber and steel in a range of structural applications. It has double the strength-to-weight ratio of steel and the same compression strength of high-performance concrete, with all the warmth, beauty and lightness of wood.
Easi Form LVL is both a practical and an aesthetically pleasing laminate that lends itself to a wealth of design opportunities, from high-rise commercial buildings to industrial warehouses. It also provides high fire resistance and softer acoustics and works well with other materials for easy and rapid construction.
This environmentally friendly wood product is made from radiata pine that’s sustainably sourced from the plantation forests of Nelson, New Zealand, and it is manufactured using low environmental impact practices.
Strength, lightness and durability
These high-quality engineered wood products are renowned for their consistency, quality and durability. Each veneer log undergoes a cutting-edge manufacturing process in which it’s peeled, chipped, dried, sanded and pressed with resin to produce a stack of high-quality core sheets. These sheets are then glued together with an exterior-grade adhesive. The resulting product is incredibly stable, durable and versatile, and four times stronger than the original log.
