The Hardie Gravis Base Sealer is a critical primer in the James Hardie Gravis Panel installation system. Applied to the steel top hat framing substrate before the Hardie Gravis Adhesive, it conditions the surface to maximise adhesion strength, reduce porosity and protect the steel framing from moisture. Supplied in a 5L pail for efficient application across large façade areas.

Application

Apply Hardie Gravis Base Sealer evenly to the face of all steel top hat sections using a brush or roller. Allow to dry fully in accordance with James Hardie's installation guidelines before applying Hardie Gravis Adhesive. Do not thin or dilute.
