Blacktown Building Supplies – Polycarbonate Roofing
Polycarbonate roofing sheets offer excellent structural durability and impact resistance, as well as effective protection against a range of extreme weather conditions. These resilient thermoplastic sheets provide an incredibly lightweight, strong and virtually unbreakable alternative to glass, and won’t shatter or crack either. They are ideal for a range of outdoor industrial warehouse and commercial projects including roof skylights and walling sidelights, as well as complete roofs and cladding.
Our selection of polycarbonate roofing includes ribbed, tinted or clear sheets in a wide range of sizes.
Incredible strength and durability
Polycarbonate roofing sheets offer immense structural durability, impact resistance and weather resistance that give them an outstanding life expectancy. They can withstand extreme amounts of force and are nearly unbreakable. Not only are polycarbonate roofing sheets incredibly strong, but they also offer UV protection. This makes them ideal for constructing awnings in commercial properties. These sheets are extremely lightweight as well, so they can be easily transported and installed.
Choose from a range of tints and opacities to suit your project, including clear, cream bronze and opal. Our Laserlite 2000 sheets have also been treated with a special protective material to maintain sheet clarity and colour up to 50% longer.
Effective resistance to all weather conditions
Polycarbonate is capable of withstanding both extreme hot and cold temperatures, making it an effective roofing material for many applications and one that is particularly suited to harsh Australian climates. These versatile sheets are resistant to heat, sunlight, snow and rain, and will last for many years without fading or discolouring. Low heat transmission keeps spaces cool in the hot sunny weather while offering essential UV protection. These sheets are also self-extinguishing and won’t promote fire or assist the spread of fire.
Our Laserlite 2000 range of polycarbonate sheets also features Advanced Weatherguard technology, providing 99.9% protection from UV rays up to 50% longer and extending the lift of the sheet by up to 50%.
